- R-Truth defeated Kenny Dykstra.
WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings for August 8:
- Jim Ross and Tazz handled commentary this week. Mick Foley was off the show selling the angle from last week.
- Victoria, Natalya & Maryse defeated WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Maria & Cherry.
- Bam Neely was shown taken out in the back with a black rose on him.
- WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder defeated Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore.
- Jeff Hardy vs. MVP is announced for SummerSlam.
- Jeff Hardy defeated WWE U.S. Champion Shelton Benjamin via DQ when MVP interfered.
- They did an arm wrestling match between Triple H and The Great Khali involving broken glass. Triple H was about to put Khali's hand in the glass when Khali headbutted Triple H and then applied the Vice Grip. Triple H was helped to the back.
- Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder were also shown laid out in the back with black roses. Chavo and Vickie think Edge is the one responsible.
- Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jesse.
- The Brian Kendrick defeated Super Crazy.
- Edge shows up and Chavo and Vickie are upset with him. Edge said they have to show unity against anyone trying to take out La Familia.
- Edge, Chavo and Vickie go the ring to call out The Undertaker. Edge then turns on Chavo and shoves Vickie out of her wheelchair.
